Let's stop ovarian cancer

There are multiple ways to get involved with Ovar'Coming Together and work toward an end to ovarian cancer. We welcome everyone committed to ending this disease to find an opportunity that works best for them: whether it is attending one of our awareness and fundraising events, volunteering  your time, using your personal history to spread awareness through one of our educational efforts, planning an independent fundraiser to support Ovar, working with your business to sponsor or more.

Volunteer opportunities range from big and small, but all help Ovar'Coming Together continue its mission. Volunteer opportunities include the below and more!

Ovar' Card Army: Virtual Volunteer

Want to be a writer of well wishes? Volunteer from home and be a part of delivering joy and support from afar; a small gesture that makes a great impact. Here's how it works:

  • Sign up to be an Ovar'Coming Card Army Volunteer

  • Receive requests for cards via email with an overview of request

  • Write or send a greeting card of well wishes and send to the Ovar'Coming Together office

  • Your card will then be delivered to its intending recipient!

Donate a portion of proceeds from customer purchases of a specific item or service during a designated time period. We will share your promotion via eblasts and social media, and provide awareness materials.

DONATE $1 FOR EVERY FACEBOOK "LIKE"

Donate $1 for every ‘Like’ your company gets on Facebook (during a specific time frame). We will help spread the word about your business, website and support to us.

PARTICIPATE IN AN EVENT!

  • Buy a discounted table of 10 and treat your staff to Basket BINGO!

  • Assemble a team for the Run Walk. Design and wear your own shirts to show your company's support. Raise Funds online. Use the outing as an opportunity for team-building!

SPREAD AWARENESS IN YOUR OFFICE

  • Share education materials with staff and customers to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and its symptoms. Request materials here.

  • Request a speaker to host a presentation at your office, aimed around awareness and survivorship.
