*Hold a special business promotion
Many retailers donate a portion of proceeds to charities or hold special promotions. For example, advertise to your customers that if they buy a specific brand of hand cream during a certain week or month, you will donate a portion of the proceeds to support the cause. Ovar'coming Together is happy to help you share the promotion via eblasts and newsletters.
*Donate for Likes
“Give $1 for every ‘Like’ your company gets on Facebook as a result of Ovar'coming Together helping to spread the word about your site. These types of campaigns have a viral effect and draw interest to your business' social media.
*Consider Planned Giving
A planned gift is simply the process of making a charitable donation in a manner that can financially benefit both the donor and the institution receiving the gift. The most common examples are bequests (which are transfers of cash, securities, or other property through a will or a living trust) and gifts of stock.
